About me

My name is Thirza van Krimpen, I’m 21 and a student at St.Joost School of Art and Design in Breda.
I’m now in my fourth year and preparing to graduate. I’ve been living in Breda for almost three years and really enjoying my time in this city. St. Joost is the perfect place to work on your skills, challenge yourself and most importantly; getting to know your (future) colleagues! The people I got to meet, and the communities I’m in are very important to me. Celebrating each other’s differences, expirimenting with what you want, having fun, and living a colorful life would make the world a more wonderful place. Maybe my art can play a part in that dream.

Im non-binary and living a very queer life, and that is a very important part of me. With the current state of the world ‘being queer’ is a hard thing to be. I would love to bring more attention to that subject in my graduation project in the form of a graphic novel.

In my free time I love to listen to music, watch movies, hangout with friends, play Dungeons and Dragons, go to dragshows, I do judo, play boardgames and way more! At 39 graden, a youth theater community, I work as a volunteer, there we work in the organization helping to realize festivals, fun evenings and thinking of ways to connect to young beginning artists.

It’s only been a few times, but you can also meet me at certain markets! On those markets I sell my work and its also a good way to get to know other artists!
